Experience
This is a measure of the fighters experience of combat and using their powers, this is gained by participating in fights. The amount of experience you get depends on the rules of combat and whether you win or lose.

Basic Match
This is the most common form of fight in this sport as it used for hand to hand combat or blunt weapon fighting.
Rules
Point system, first to 10 points is the winner.
Clean Hit: 1 Point
Critical Hit: 2 Points
Knockdown: 1 Point
Experience Gain
10 points for a victory. 7 for a loss.

This is for those who use bladed weapons.
Rules
First to draw blood wins.
Experience Gain
7 points for a victory. 5 for a loss.


Ranks
Once a fighter gains a certain amount of experience they can ascend to a new rank. This represents the character reaching a new level of power and skill. As a result of this when your character goes up a rank he gains a new power slot.

Nooblet: 0xp                
A rather unflattering name for those who have only just joined the sport. They will often have no fighting experience whatsoever.

Novice: 20xp
After expeiencing one or two fights a fighter will ascend to the rank of Novice.

Combatant: 60xp
By this point the fighter will be starting to get the hand of fighting.

Gladiator: 120xp
Gladiators are the most common type of fighter since alot don't ascend beyond this rank.

Champion: 200xp
When a fighter reaches Champion they will have proven themselves to be above average. Showing a decent amount of skill in combat.

Grand Champion: 300xp
Once the fighter has learned greater skills and has gained even more experience in combat they can ascend to the ranks of Grand Champion.

Elite: 420xp
Not many make it far enough to be an Elite. Elites are often hired to join professional level teams or form contracts with sponsors.

Battle Master: 560xp
The highest rank that alot fighters obtain, Battle Masters have learned many forms of combat and are often a force to be reckoned with.

Ascended: 720xp
Only a select few have ever reached it this far, to become an Ascended a fighter must push themselves beyond the normal limits of their body and reach a whole new level of physical and mental power. These fighters can transform themselves into new forms without the limits of their old ones.

Ascended Champion: 900xp
After Asecending the fighters are opened up to a whole new world of strength, the champions are those who have gained control of their new strength and have learned to control it.

Ascended Battle Master: 1100xp
Ascended Battle Masters are extremely experienced fighters that wield massive amounts of power with godlike skill.

Maester: 1320xp
There are only a few people of this rank in the entire world and those people are among the strongest beings in history. Those who have reached this rank are househole names and are well known even by those who don't follow the sport.

Immortal: 1560xp
No known person has ever reached this rank.


Transformations      
A transformation are the stage that a character reaches once they have passed their physical limits. The transformation is more a side effect than an actual bonus since the body reacts to the need for more power by changing into a form with less in the way of physical limitations.

In normal circumstances a human should only be able to reach the rank of battle master and this was originally the highest rank. Once a person gains a transformation they can continue getting stronger although the powers they gain from this point onwards can ONLY be accessed in their transformed state.
