(This is meant for a specific person, although it's actually open to all who wish to play.  I'm sure Dave can be a dick enough to anger even the most modest of souls.  The setting is a bar... small, not yet crowded but sure to be that way before the end of the night.  When one enters from the street through the double doors, the bar is to the immediate front.  It runs for about 50-60 feet, straight towards the back of the room.  To the left, the wall runs for about 25 feet.  Along the left wall, a small stage allows live bands to play.  Usually locals, often without much talent, but always full of heart.  And the alcoholic atmosphere tends to make everything seem more impressive than it really is.

Booths line the streetside and left-hand walls up to the stage, tables filling the space between the walkway.  The back section is a squared-off dance space.

Dave walked into the bar, taking a seat towards the end of the bar, ordering a single shot and a light beer to chase it.  He sat there, sipping his beverages, listening to the overly-loud music.  He could feel the booze affect his old bones, feel the focus start to fade.  After a few drinks, he was only aware of what he could directly see.

Ah, peace.

Dave savored the few breaks he had from his abilities.  They'd haunted him all these years, only letting him find peace on these rare occasions.  He could hear everything, though, and listened to what he heard.  Locals talking about this and that, griping about jobs and trying to find someone to take home.

There Dave sat, sipping whiskey and beer.

Galen, fresh from his battle with Blue, decided to pop into the first bar he found and drink the day in honor of Ireland and home.
"Barkeep, how 'bout a Guiness?"

Galen caught the bottle that was rather rudely slung at him, downed half of it straight away, and belted out the first verse of "O Danny Boy."

You DBZ kids don't know what real RP is.  I'm a hack compared to some of those from other forums.  I mean dang, some of those people should write books.

And dude, Waiting is the funniest movie I've ever seen.

Dave looked at this new arrival, belting out some song or another.  It seemed vaguely familiar.

He sat there, listening to the strange-sounding lyrics... there seemed to be a wavery-quality to the vocals.  Kinda like Getty Lee with some reverb.

"Top o' th' day to ya!  
Howzabout toning it down just a little bit?
Yeah, it's St Patty's day.  That doesn't mean every midget has to dress up like a leprechaun and try to score at bars.  Just because you're short doesn't mean you should punish the rest of us with that bad accent."

Dave looked back to his drink, noticing that it was empty.

"'Nother round for me, and one for my little green friend, if ya please."

OOC: ...who's green?

"Ey, who you tellin me to a'be hushin? It's ole St. Patty's Day, and I'm full of Irish spirit, but I tank ee for the drink all th'same."

Galen gulped down the drink Dave had bought him, and walked sloshingly over to him.
"What's your name, oldie?"

"Allow me to apologize... It seems that I was mistaken... It's been so long since I've heard a true Irishman, I'd mistaken you for a fake.  Name's Dave, and I thank you for not wolloping me a good one for my mouth's running off like that.  How 'bout you?"

"Name's Galen." As he said that, he wobbled into Dave's face, inadvertently blowing beer-breath in the old chap's visage.

Dave leaned back, smelling the small bit of alcohol on the breath of the Gale.

"Gail?  Isn't that a girl's name?

Dave shifted in his chair a little bit, feeling the Sight start to return to him.  He shifted in his cloak, preparing himself to accept the return of the overwhelming awareness.  He'd drink more, but he new it'd do nothing.  
Dave muttered under his breath
"All this focus, nothing to do... maddening"

Galen often had a hard time controlling the volume of his voice as he drank. He finished his beer and grabbed Dave on the shoulder firmly.
"Alright, time to dance a jig. Watch me!"

Galen began a traditional Irish dance, but given that the floor and walls were spinning, he fell on his face rather quickly.

"Eh, wassat sonny?  Har, half a pint and you are down?  Are you sure you are Irish?  Don't tell me you don't have a temper either..."

Dave turned around, back to the bar.
Galen, huh... He seems familiar, reminds me of... Yeah, reminds me of the Duke twins.  Memories...

"Bartender, anyone ever get into fights around here?  This old man here doesn't want to get into any kind of trouble.

Actually, I do.  There any bullies around here or someone who'd go for a quick tussle?"

Galen, still lying on the floor, stuck his hand up  with a "number one" gesture. His speech was muffled from his face still being pressed against the floor.

"Actually, I'm still a bit light from me last scrap. Usually I drink me weight in the stuff."

Galen hopped up, the fuzzy colors making him giggle.

"Who says I haven't me temper? Why, just cause me hair ain't red don't mean there ain't a fire in me furnace."

"Ah.  
Lemme ask ya something.  I've just signed a contract with this Lambda corporation... I kinda roughed up a guard or three.  I've not really done any research on the fights there.  I was just wondering if I might be out of my league, being a bit old and all that...

Galen put his hand to his mouth and yelled to the barkeep.
"Make that a double!"

"Eh? What'cha mean?  Are you saying we should spar a lil bit?"

He is like the Dukes.  Hair, voice... that feeling...

Melissa, Stressed from her fight with Jones and Kayro, strolled into the bar for a nice drink. Hoping to find either some peace, or something of the sort.
As she walked in, she walked close to the middle of the bar, took a seat on the Barstool, and looked straight at the bartender.
"Bartender, Hit me with a shot of Jack." She said. She glanced over at the Two Men at the end, but said nothing.

"HEY!"
Galen hopped from his barstool and sat next to Melissa.

"Ello there lass. Ever kiss an Irishman?"

Melissa Chuckled Still looknig straight. "Depends. Ever had your ass kicked by a Woman?" The Bartender slid down her shot, she Gulped it down without hesitation. Then turned to Galen. "I'd Advise you to go back to your friend over there."

Galen thought for a moment. He had had his ass kicked by a woman before, but that was a long time ago.

"You've either not drunk enough, or too much already lass."

Galen got up, but instead of going back to his stool, he walked over to the juke box. He looked through the selection, and arbitrarily picked The Beastie Boy's "Sabotage."

Dave looked down the bar at Galen's acquaintance.  He couldn't quite size her up from the distance.
I couldn't find a link to "Melissa"...

"'Nother Round!"

Melissa went back to her drinking, and Asked the Bartender for another round, this time a double. Ahh, Men she thought as she paid the bartender for her first drink. she looked over, this time at Dave. "Funny, i've never seen this man before, He must be a new guy in town."
