The reception desk, as always, was crowded. The frazzled staff scrambled to process the warriors' paperwork and get them ready to compete on time. A door behind the stand flung open and Jenny, the reception manager, dashed out, flinging papers and clipboards at lightning speed. In a matter of moments everything was sorted and calm was settling in as Jenny chewed her pink bubblegum anxiously.
"Next!"

While everyone else messed around with being drunk and saying how superior they were in other topics, Joshua was approaching the reception desk, walking up to Jenny.

"Joshua Ryu here to sign up," he said quietly.

The woman looked up from her computer that she had been typing, "Hmm? Oh you must be a new fighter. You don't need to sign up for normal matches, only if we're holding a special event."

Joshua, feeling slightly foolish, decided to just head to the prep area then.
