The arena doors opened onto a large island, surrounded by crystal blue waters. Galen breathed in the sea air, which he thought was slightly artificial.

"Faith and Begorrah! Ain't this lovely?"

Frost appeared behind Galen.
"oh shut up!"
frost wasnt in a very good mood today.
we walked passed Galen and stood on the other side of the areana.
"im ready when ever you are!"

Galen mumbled to himself, "Got me a sweet one today I did. Lovely..."

"Alright, if you say so." Galen caused a small pocket of air under his feet to create an updraft and propel him high into the sky as he jumped. He whistled at the beautiful scenery as he plummeted back down like a rock.

Frost watched as Galne fell, "that wasnt very intelligent!"
He knew that his water control wasnt that great at the moment, but it should be enough to get Frost the upper hand.

Frost drawing in the near by water formed it into a smallish blob infront of himself.
It then burst out wards towards Galen.

Galen blew a strong blast of wind, creating a gap in the water about his width. He sailed straight through the water at Frost.

Frost using his footwork skill quickly moved back into the water, the gental waves washed around his shins.

"hmm that was a nice little move!".
water began to swirl around Frost.
"come get some!"

Frost signaled for Galne to attack him!.

Galen wiped the water from his face as he laughed.
"You're a quick one, aren't ya Drippy? Alright then!"

Galen dashed at Frost, throwing 3 invisible blades of wind, given an edge with the salt in the air.

Frost noticed Galen threw something but not sure what it was.
Frost used the water to protect himself, but the wind cut straight though it, slicing Frosts cheek.
Frost ducked down out of the way of the last too.
He slowly stood, blood was dribbling from his cheek, there was a slight sting where the wound was opened.
"what is that it?"

Frost took a few steps forward throwing a simple punch that was backed up with a fist full of water.

Galen quickly used footwork to dodge Frost's punch, while he threw another Wind Blade at Frost's midsection as he passed.

Frost was cut again, "damn you i like that shirt"
Frost spun around with a two arm strike (left arm follwed by the right ). aimed towards galens should/collar bone.

Galen didn't fare as well this time, as both Frost's punches connected, sending the Wind Warrior sailing into the water. Galen liked the water, but the throbbing pain in his shoulder wasn't pleasant. Galen decided to use one of his favorite techniques. He began funneling the air in his lungs out of the water and joining it with the air at the surface to create an upward vortex of water. Galen grinned as he stood atop the tower of water he had just created.

"do you really think that will stop me?"
Frost just stood there waiting for the tower of water to hit him.

"Oh I ain't gonna throw this at ya mate. You bein' a watery fellow, I'd have to be a damn fool to get you wet."
Galen stopped fueling the water tower, allowing it to splash back into the sea, as he fell back to the ground, landing with a "tph" sound.

"Your move mate."

OOC: What rules are you guys using?

OOC:......Dammit. I suppose we should score as we go along then?

As far as I can tell, it's 2 clean hits for Galen, 1 clean and 1 knockdown for Frost.

Btw, what exactly defines a critical hit?

OOC: I really strong damaging hit, a series of rapid strikes or just a really clever move.

ooc: i thought it was the basic rule in force.

ic: "well at least your smarter than you look!"
Frost moved his fringe aside only to have it fall back in front of his face.

a huge spire of water exploded up in front of frost, as he rushed towards Galen, Frost did a simple one, two punch at Galens stomach.

Galen was struck by Frost's first punch, but he blocked the second with a burst of air that propelled Galen away from Frost.

Galen still had a big grin on his face.
"Of a surety you can do better that that mate!"

"damn he is alot faster than me!".
Frost stood motionless for a moment.
"i need to stop him from using the air!, but how?".
The water around the Island started to wash up on shore more violently.
"you want better?"

Galen's big cheesy grin changed to a smirk. He loved a challenge.

Galen began to move his forearms around in small circles, as a whistling sound could be heard emanating from them.
