Rin ran onto a dirty arena, a barren wasteland, if you will.

He then spun around, waiting for Blue to arrive.

The clanking of Blue's shoes echoed as he came through an entrance leading to the arena. He seemed somewhat disgruntled, as though following Rin was a waste of his time. However, something told him to keep walking. As he came up onto the actual arena floor, he noticed that Rin was waiting for him.

"Well. Here I am. I guess this is what you wanted."

"I need a mentor after all. I mean, I wanna win the tournaments for my family, you know? I can help my si-" Rin remembered that he shouldn't mention Lynn, as it would raise suspicion.

"My aunt is sick...and I wanna help her. So, I'd really appreciate it if you'd help me get better? Please?"

Blue didn't honestly care about Rin's sick aunt. However, he knew it would be an opportunity to get stronger. And hopefully build some character in this boy.

"Alright. But be warned, I will show no mercy, nor do I expect any from you."

He bent his knees slightly and raised his arms about mid body.

Rin broke into a dash, quickly running to the side of Blue, waiting for him to teach him mid-battle. He threw a swift kick to the ribs of Blue, hitting as hard as he could.

Blue deflected Rin's kick downward with his right arm (non-spiked) and immediately followed it up with a left hook toward Rin's right collar bone.

Rin jumped up above Blue, curling his legs, narrowly dodging the fist. "Ohmigosh! That almost hit me!" He said with a slight sound of fear.

Then, he extended his legs similarly to how Lynn did against Blue, trying to to kick the swordsman in the face with both of his feet.

Blue sensed the attack but let it hit him almost full force (as it was lesson number one).

He fell back onto his ass, still somewhat upright. He shook his head a couple times and responded, "Good, good, always know that when you attack first you need to know all the possible ways it can be countered and be able to respond to that."

Blue immediately leaped to his feet. With his arms in a sort of power-up position, his veins began to glow a brighter blue color (Similar to what he did against Lynn by using the electrical current to increase his reaction time).

"Now--" He immediately charged at Rinn and aimed a kick at Rin's right shin.

Rin was shocked by the "transformation" and was sent down onto one knee, as he stared at Blue. "The heck was that? That's really scary..."

He cringed in pain, as he stood back up. Okamoto jumped high into the air, above Blade's head, before extending his leg high above him, slamming it down below him in an axe kick like move.

Rin's leg came down strong, and with little time to react Blue tilted his head to the side as the kick came down on his shoulder, sending him backward striking the ground behind him. He stood up slowly, twisting his arm a couple times to get the kink out from the hard axe kick, "I'm gonna be honest with ya', I honestly don't know much about teaching. The only actual advice I can give you besides the first strike is to never fear anyone. Sounds cheesy, I know. However--"

Once again stopping mid-sentence, he charged directly at Rin and aimed a right punch at his mid-section.

"So, I guess this isn't training much, then?" Rin said, a moment before blocking Blue's attack with his forearm. "It looks like this is a normal match? I'd say we're both at 3 or 4?"

With this, Rin dashed right in front of Blue, ducking down, before making his arm grow, producing an upper cut, as his left hand went around Blue, for a punch to the back.

Blue honestly couldn't make a move with such a bizarre combination of attacks. Instead. . .well, he leaned INTO the frontal attack to (maybe?) reduce the effect of the back hit. And apparently it. . .worked? As he leaned into the uppercut he was sent upwards and a short distance away, landing hard against the terrain. Blue sat up slowly, as blood ran down his face, "Good lord, what are you?!"

He grunted and got to his feet, rubbing the blood onto his arm. "A little pain didn't hurt anyone I suppose", he thought to himself. Blue then charged at Rin again, as waiting for Rin to attack could set him up for another 'nearly impossible' attack to counter. He faked with a left shot (sort of like a pump fake in football. >.>) and swung with his right toward Rin's chest. . .!

Rin was sent tumbling over to the side, sending dirt flying through the air, feeling a hella lot pain.

He stumbled to hit feet, tears in his eyes. After all, he was terribly afraid of a billion different things, and a big huge guy with blue veins and a metal arm doesn't rank very high on the "Safe and Cuddly" scale.

A trail of blood was running down his cheek, as he began to run towards Blue, for one last attack. Things seemed to slow down, as he dashed across the dirt.

In a blur, he appeared at Blade's side, extending all of his limbs to their limit and spinning around rapidly, as if he were a blade that was rotating.

Blue grit his teeth, and [without really thinking/caring] he extended the rotating spikes out from his arm and just as Rin neared, he put both his arm's in an X blocking at around his face and neck and planted his feet. Rin collided into Blue hard as his flailing arms and legs smacked into Blue all over.

He began sliding back as Rin's continuous flailing began increasingly painful. But he wasn't about to let it knock him into defeat. So he held the position while he waited for Rin to slow to a stop.

Rin felt the blood slowly pour out of his body, but he wasn't about to let Blue win. He tensed up his muscles, hoping that the the spikes wouldn't hit an important nerve or vein or  anything. This was of course, incredibly stupid, as he was likely to die or at least sustain amazing pain.

He squeezed his feet even tighter, and curled his toes, screaming. "Come on, Sensei! Fight to the finish!"

Blue sensed that something was wrong before realizing that in his little quick maneuver to block the attack that he had sent the spikes jetting out from his arm. He could see the blood streaks where Rin's spinning body had been clipped and knew that the battle wasn't just to win. He focused his mind away from Rin and to his arm (It was a part of him after all. Retracting the spikes was simply like bending a finger). Just as all the spikes returned inside the arm's mechanisms, one of Rin's flailing arms struck Blue square in the face, sending his head into a whiplash. His arms no longer in an X, he was exposed to more brutal hits. All the bruises he was sustaining were beginning to seep blood all over his pants and down his arms.

Taking whatever he had left, he channeled all his electrical currents through his bloodstream causing his veins to glow profusely. Within that one instant, that less than a second instant, he grabbed one of Rin's arms and swung him full 360 degrees and heaved him a good few yards away.

Immediately after, he dropped to one knee. . .then two. . .and he stared at the ground as blood dripped from his forehead onto the ground. One, two. . .he counted the drips before falling forward staring at the ground. He wasn't completely sure he was conscious, after that single direct blow to the head he couldn't be sure.

"I feel a tad concussed," He said into the ground. Assuming he was still awake.

Rin felt the spikes slash into his arms pore powerfully then before, before the electrical current went into his body. He thought about how proud Lynn would be of him, and how it would make him feel like he would be able to help Lynn in her quest to win the tournaments.

I...have to withstand this...for her...! He thought to himself, as he was thrown into the air. However, at that time, he knew he was defeated. Rin began flying around the arena like a deflating balloon, confused to the maximum. "Wwwwooooaahhh!"

Blood was flying all around the arena, in small amounts. Nothing extremely fatal, but obviously bad for him. He had done a great amount of damage to Blue, but not enough to be able to call himself the victor.

"I have to win!" He yelled, as he landed on his head, knocking him out instantly. Okamoto fell onto his back, blood pouring down his face. An excess amount of blood was on his body that it almost seemed like a gory anime.

The oddest thing about his defeat was that he was now snoring, a japanese style snot bubble inflating and deflating from his nostril as he continued to "sleep."

Blue thought to himself, while he rubbed his face in the dirt, "I hope I didn't end up killing that poor boy. He--" And as the blood continued to rush down that one deep spot on his forehead engulfing his face and running in his eyes. . .he blacked out.
