Dave walked into the stadium for the fight.  He didn't take much thought into picking an arena, just a generic plains setting.  Gently rolling hills held somewhat tallish grasses, about eight inches tall.

Dave stood there, his cloak fluttering slightly in the breeze.

"Galen!  I hope you've sobered up!  Any friends coming along too?"

Galen walked through the door and felt the wind on his face. He immediately sobered up and leapt into the air, breathing deeply.

"Looks like it's just me, old man. I'm ready when you are!"

"I Ain't Gettin Any Younger!  Come at me laddy!"

Galen stood still on the fields, and simply smirked at Dave. From behind, a small cyclone formed and spun straight at Dave's back.

I can't get MSN to work... Yahoo messenger is the only one I have right now, trying to redo MSN now though.  I'm trying (for the 3rd time) to try to download it again...

Dave started running towards Galen with the small cyclone following closely.  Just before Dave got within melee distance, he went off to the side, hoping the small twister would perhaps interfere with whatever Galen was planning.

Galen snickered slightly. He was manipulating this tornado, afterall. The tornado simply dissipated and wrapped itself around his right fist.

"Gonna do anything more than run mate?"

Dave dug his heels into the ground, coming to a stop.  He slowly walked back towards Galen.

"I see you roll some wind powers... hmmm...  Have you ever heard of the Ducati twins from Italy?  They were around those parts a few decades ago... I wonder, do you have any fire or ice manipulation as they did?"

Dave performed a spinning-back-kick, aiming at Galen's stomach.  He was surprised somewhat, but managed to aim low - not something Dave was used to, but not anything new for him.

"Never heard of em mate."

Galen extended his Tornado Fist to block Dave's kick with its tremendous force.

OOC: Tornado Fist is quite powerful, as it's a condensed cyclone around mah fist. Check my threads against Frost or Blue if ya like. It hits as a critical attack.

Dave's leg was jarred as his foot was slammed by Galen's tornado fist.  He flew a few yards through the air, touching down with his heels again diggin up trenches in the loose topsoil.

"Gah, that hurt a small bit, laddy.  Well, I've another question for ya?  Remember "what I did to the Jukebox" where you called me a wizard?"

Dave stood still, his cloak flapping in the breeze.

[I'll give ya 1 for that... I'd have given 2 if it was an attack, but as it is, it seems like a Thorns-type block.  Trying to fix MSN still...]

Li had been heading through the fields in an attempt to get to the next arena. Li liked going places, in fact he liked it far more than actually being where he wanted to go so when he saw what looked to be a very interesting distraction in the form of a fight he skidded to a halt.

Unfortunately, in a rare show of lack of balance Li's feet stopped moving far faster than the rest of him resulting in him barelling forwards through the grass and landing on his back staring up at the sky through the eyeholes in his mask. He quickly got back to his feet and observed the battle intently.

"Glory, here's a Halloween chap! Sorry, I've got no candy here for ya laddy."

"Well, Galen, did you notice how the jukebox started acting strange after that flashing light?  Wizard isn't the right word for it," Dave broke into a heavy Scottish brogue, "laddy.  Oh Aye, indeed, ya mi't want to be carrrreful... I wouldn't fully trust ye senses."

Dave wondered what the other person was doing, and what the mask signified.  He kept the accent going.  "You therrre, what mi't'ya be doin' roun' here?"

(OOC - I can make no promises on where this Scottish accent thing might or might not go.  I dunno why Dave is doing it, but that's what he's doing in my head... and if ya can't tell, I'm fully planning on using my powers to their fullest  I won't be on here long tonight, but I've a big break tomorrow, might be able to get on from school if I can find the bloody open computer lab.  They moved it last semester, I dunno where to...)

"Watching!" shouted Li from a fair distance away, he raised his arm in what looked like a cross between a salute and a wave, "Don't mind me, you're being watched from about five dozen cameras anyway!"

Dave raised his right eyebrow, and spoke (without the Scottish accent)

"Aye!  I was hoping for more of a fight than just one, I'd rather bring my first fight here in with a good show.  Seems I'll have to settle with just one opponent then... maybe next time."

Dave stood still, looking towards some of the flowers amid the grass, paying attention to the insects going about their respective businesses, awaiting Galen's response and/or next move.

Li blinked a few times before he got what Dave was saying, "I can join in if you like, hell I was on my way to the bamboo fields to look for an opponent anyhow."

Dave stood there, still intently watching the arthropods.

"Well, ah reckon' this here ol'timer might be up the creek without a paddle!  Or...

Stranger, what might your name be?"

Dave stood there, still awaiting someone to make a move.

'Li Sheng Shung until I can actually think of something more impressive to use in the arena. The only stuff I can think if is generic crap like "The Shadow" or "Black Reaper" or crap like that,' he sratched the back of his neck, "You?"

"How about something new, like 'That Masked Guy?"

Galen didn't really like standing about this long, so he dashed at Dave aiming a punch at the old man's face.

Dave bitterly laughed as Galen came rushing in from his side.  Dave remembered the shock his leg took from that whirlybird sneakery, and he didn't intend on a repeat.  He dodged backwards from Galen, aiming a kick down low in hopes of tripping up Galen's ankles.

"Li Sheng Shung, eh?  You don't know any four-armed gorillas do ya?  Come in, closer, I can't hear ya from out there.  Let's gather around and beat upon an old man."
