Actually I did both. I've been discussing it first with TrunksTrevelyan though. They are his characters after all, so I discuss things I have in mind about them regarding their story etc. with him first so I can find out if he likes that or not.

Yeah, I don't plan on using customs for the following reasons;

- I already have the most part of the storyline planned out, including characters
- It's always been a wish of mine to create my own storyline, with my own characters, so I tend to avoid using other people's characters for DD - that includes those owned by Akira Toriyama, which is why you'll find no DBZ characters in my comic.

It is true that Z-Fighter came up with ideas for two characters that I'm gonna be using, but I still had a big part in developing their personality and design.

In short; I've finally managed to create an original story of my own with my own characters, and I'm proud of that - so other people's customs are not likely to be requested.

That's why, if I have new ideas about some characters' backstories etc. I always discuss them with TrunksTrevelyan first to see if he likes and agrees with that idea. It's always a case of THINKING before ACTING.
