Hm, so you're doing coloring. I'd suggest more than just 2 tones of each color. Try using at least 3 or 4. If you're using Photoshop try using gradients. NOT A LOT, but just sneak a few in into spots you see fit, to make it look as if the colors are blending into one another.

well this is my second try so for now it's 2 tones XD

I will use more tones when I get better with using PhotoShop^^

that is a certain style of shading, and IMO, its more anime-y.


And it's actually pretty damn good.

Yeah i think 2 tones is the best in animes

very nice, i know how difficult it is to colour an image from the web, i think you should stick with 2 tones, because thats what they use on naruto, you may occasionally see 3, but its nothing special, usually used in shadows
