Muscles aching, heart racing, sweat dripping. Bane and Sterai had been training for days, trying to achieve the next level of Spirit Fusion. “Ste…rai keep going, were, almost there.” Bane said panting throughout the whole sentence. The two could barely stand, let a lone keep fighting. “We gotta keep going.” Bane fell to the ground. “Ok, lets rest!” He rested on the ground, the sun beaming its ray’s of light onto the two boys.

Dream
“Run Bane, its gaining and fast.” Bane was flying through the air, top speed. And a massive robot was chasing him. It looked just like the one he fought on the Mission. He turned around, to fight the giant robot, but it was no use, the robot slammed Bane into the ground, using much force, creating a large crater. Bane spat up some blood. “Bane!” a voice said from a distance. “Bane get up!” He looked up, struggling, and he saw a girl. “Bane don’t die!” She screamed again, in tears. The robot brought his giant foot down into Bane’s stomach. He coughed up more blood. He felt rage inside of him, building up. Suddenly he sent a massive pulse of energy towards the robot, sending him flying backwards. He then charged up his fist, exceeding the max power he could ever put into it. Charging at the robot, Bane brought his arm back. “Final Fi…” Before he could strike the robot, he was struck. As he slowly fell, he turned his body to see who struck him, it was Joshua.
End

Bane woke up violently into the night, sweat-dripping from his body. “That was…a nightmare!” He said as he looked over at Sterai, then he made sure he wasn’t hurt.
The next morning Bane woke up, and got freshen up. He cleaned off by swimming, and then started with some small workouts, starting at push-ups and making his way to sit-ups. Sterai had wakened, and went straight into his training; he focused on his basic melee attacks, seeing as how he was already skilled enough with his axe. The boys trained for at least 2 hours by themselves. “You ready to spar?” Bane said as he looked at Sterai, he shook his head and Bane went straight into combat. He dashed at Sterai, throwing a punch, but Sterai evaded it, and struck Bane in the gut. Banes took the hit but recovered fast enough to teleport behind Sterai, and send a roundhouse kick to his ribs. Sterai leaned in on the attack, lessening the pain of the attack. He jumped back. “No kid stuff!” And powered up, transforming into his final form, increasing his built, horn size speed, and height. Bane smiled and powered up, using his Oversoul transformation. “This should be fun!” He teleported with much speed at Sterai, attacking him. They both were fighting so fast, that there was only a blur. They had created ripples in the sky. Both fighters were going all out, holding nothing behind. 3 hours later they landed on separate sides of the area. “Nice hit.” Bane said, wiping the blood from his lip. He then dashed at Sterai, teleported beside him, then afterimaged, confusing Sterai so that he could strike with his Twilight destruction. But Sterai saw it coming, and just as he was about to shoot the blast, Sterai grabbed him, and slammed him into the ground. Appearing under him was a fairly large crater. Sterai stood atop him, throwing punches. Bane, seeing an opening, threw a hook at Sterai’s face, knocking him off. He jumped out of the crater, fired two blasts, exploding onto the ground, creating a sand screen. Sterai swatted away the sand, to notice that bane was gone. “Nice trick master.” Sterai said as he floated into the air. “Your Shadow Fury doesn’t work on me.” He smirked. “Who said it did?” Bane was above Sterai, and his fists were clenched together. He smashed Sterai back to the ground. Before Sterai had time to recover, Bane shot a Kamehameha wave towards him, exploding on impact.

“Master Wyatt, the boy and his Guardian are training, should we send Seekers to weaken him for your capture?” Kagura said as she bowed before her Master. “Yes.” That was the only response she had gotten. She bowed down, then back up and walked out of the chamber. “The Seekers will not weaken him, if anything he will feel he is getting revenge.”

Sterai was panting, tired form all the training. “Shall we keep going?” Bane said looking at Sterai, and holding his chest. He shook his head. But just as they entered their fighting stance, a bolt of lightning struck beside Bane. He jumped back to avoid it. “Kagura!” He said as he saw her, and a couple of Full powered Seekers where the bolt had struck. “Very observant Bane, now Seekers destroy the boy and his pet!” with a gust of wind Kagura vanished. The seekers then immediately attacked the two. “Master!” Sterai said as he rushed forward, but stopped due to the 5 seekers that surrounded him. Bane on the other hand was already in combat with 6 other seekers. He was still full power, but was tired from all their training. One of the seekers kneed Bane in the gut, causing him to cough up blood. The seeker gave him no mercy, they all teamed up on him, whist he was on the ground. Sterai had his own problems. The Seekers were strong, and had the upper hand when suddenly Sterai emitted a pulse of energy from his necklace. Knocking the Seekers off of him. His eyes were blood red. “ROOAAAHH!” He yelled as he started attacking the Seekers, throwing them into the ground, and bashing them into each other.

Bane suddenly had a flashback, of when he was little. The seekers chasing him down, attacking him, leaving him for dead. “GET OFF OF ME!” He yelled as he summoned his sword, and slashed 3 of them in half, the others jumped away. Bane threw his sword down, charged up one hand, and blasted the other seekers. Sterai on the other hand, finished off his last Seeker by throwing him into a mountain. “Master, are you ok?” Sterai said, reverting back to normal. Bane shook his head as he reverted aswell. “Wyatt!” Bane yelled into the sky, as he knew he was watching. Suddenly a demon came descending from the sky. “Zahn Hungry!” Bane looked at Sterai. “You’ve gotta be kidding me!” They felt the tremendous energy coming from the demon. Zahn the demon made no hesitation to make the first move, he threw a blast of dark energy straight for Sterai. But it wasn’t a successful hit. Sterai jumped out of the way, rolling on the ground he picked up his Axe. “Now we fight!” He said charging at the Demon. He transformed, as Bane flew right behind him. “Ancient Wave!” Sterai said, launching his attack.  Bane also attacked using a series of combo’s and Slash ki attacks. The Demon fell to the ground. Then disintegrated. “What is going on?” Sterai said landing on the ground. “Someone is trying to drain us of our energy, we need to create a barrier, so that we can regenerate, before a real threat emerges.” Bane said grabbing Sterai’s shoulder. The two teleported away, trying to lose anyone detecting them.

“Master the attack was successful, the boy and his Guardian are out of power, and they will not be able to handle another attack.” Kagura said, bowing once more. “Where is the boy now?” Kagura fidgeted. “Where is the boy!” Wyatt’s fist hit the table beside him, shaking the ground. “He, he got away sir, and we are unable to track him, he must be suppressing his energy somehow.” Wyatt turned to yet another guard. “Damit!” He threw a fireball at the guard, vanquishing him as he screamed. “Find him! Then do everything you can to contain him. And if you fail me once more Kagura, he wont be the only one as a sacrifice.” Kagura bowed. “Yes sir, I understand.” And with that, she vanished.
“Kahn-Su, follow her, and make sure she does not fail!” “Yes master” Kahn-Su shimmered out of the chamber.

“We should be safe, as long as I can suppress my energy level, they won’t be able to find us.” Bane said as him and Sterai were in an abandoned Laboratory. “We can heal in these chambers here, 15 hours should do the trick.” “Are you sure were safe?” Sterai said as he entered one of the chambers. “Yea I’m pretty sure, this lab hides energy levels, making it undetected. And I can suppress my energy, making it impossible for anyone to get a read on us.” Bane entered his chamber. “See you in 15 hours!” The cells activated, and a breathing mask came from the front of the glass, attaching onto Sterai’s and Bane’s mouth and nose, allowing them to breathe. Then the cell began to fill up, with chemicals and a liquid substance that was blue like water. The two chambers filled up, and were now working to restore their lost energy. As the two floated in the chambers, Bane started to dream again.

”Your time has come chosen one, to free Zagan. A Half Demon who took over the Underworld long ago, His powers were nowhere near as powerful as though of a true Demon, but the more Demons’ he slaughtered, the more power he gained. He became so powerful, that he was sealed away in a gate called The Raven’s Gate. Unleashing him will either Help the Underworld, or cause it to crumble. Only you can stop him. But the only way to truly save your world from destruction is by killing the Beast. You the Chosen one, you’re the only one who can make this decision. Ultimate Destruction, or Ultimate Salvation. Choose the right path.

Bane had wakened from the slumber. “Its time.” He said as the chamber was extracting the liquid and releasing him from the mask. He stepped out of the chamber, grabbed a towel, and dried off. Sterai was already out, looking at the research on the table. “Master Bane, you were studied here, weren’t you. That’s how you knew the location.” Bane looked up, and shook his head. “When they found me abandoned, they took me to a chamber after seeing I wasn’t human, they studied me for weeks, running test after test, until I escaped.” Bane looked around. “So were still safe huh? C’mon I have a feeling Wyatt has sent Kagura after us, and I cant have her finding us here, she would destroy the tanks.” Bane grabbed Sterai’s shoulder and they teleported into a field. “Now act tired, they don’t know we have healed.”

It didn’t take long before Kagura found the two warriors. “So, you thought you were safe huh boys? Well its time to bring you in!” She summoned more Seekers, this time an army of 20. “I get ten on left, you get the other ten on the right.” Sterai said as he held his axe up to his shoulder. Bane smiled. “Deal!” “Attack!” Kagura commanded, and just as she did, they all rushed after the two. In a flash the Seekers dropped, and Sterai and Bane stood feet from Kagura, Bane’s sword into the air, his left foot spread back, and his right foot propping him up. Sterai’s axe was mid level, blade sticking out. “Next!” Bane said as he smiled at Kagura. “What impossible!” She said as she witnessed all of her minions on the ground. “I mist get away!” But just as Kagura was about to retreat something happened. She was struck in the heart with some sort of spike. “You have failed Kagura, now I have come to clean up your mess!” Kahn-Su said from behind her. And as she died, she evaporated into the wind. “So you’re here to kill us?” Bane said entering his fighting stance. “No, I am here to clean up Kagura’s mess, and that is it!”  He looks at Bane and Sterai. “Don’t worry, next time you see me, it will be for you!” He pointed at Bane, and then shimmered away. Bane and Sterai stood straight up. “Were about to have to fight some pretty powerful demons’. Bane said, he then explained to Sterai about the dream he had, and him being the Chosen One, and Zagan, and saving the world, or destroying it.

“We have to hang in there a little longer, if we went up against this Demon now, he would kill us. Even in your Oversoul your not close enough to standing a chance.” Bane looked at Sterai and said two words. “I know.”

“Kahn-Su, you took care of the problem?” “Yes Master, the boy and his Guardian have regenerated their power, and took Kagura’s men out within a blink of an eye. These two must not be underestimated.” “Take Zaku, and Daria, and recover the Boy. It is almost time that he meets me face to face.” Kahn-Su bowed, and then shimmered out of the chamber.

Meanwhile, Bane and Sterai were planning on how to train without being ambushed. “Well, what about the Hyperbolic time chamber?” Sterai said, remembering it from the lookout. “Its still not finished yet, that was my first option.” Sterai kept thinking. “Well maybe Totosai can help us, he might be able to create an area that can’t detect us.” Bane thought for a while. “Hmm, it is in the middle of nowhere, and he is powerful enough to create such an area. But we would need to make sure it was a big enough area. And with many obstacles.” Bane went on and on. “Ok, lets rest now, and tomorrow we head off to seek Totosai.” Bane lied on the grass, looking up into the sky, examining all of the stars. He remembered his dream. “You the Chosen one, you’re the only one who can make this decision. Ultimate Destruction, or Ultimate Salvation. Choose the right path.” He thought about this. “It’s my destiny, but I don’t think I can do it alone, I need someone to help me.” He looked over at Sterai, who was fast asleep in his normal form. “Were going to save the world. And to do it, were going to have to fight to our max, no holding back.” Bane turned back to the stars. “I’m going to need to learn some new attacks if I want to stand a chance.”

“Master our team is ready to capture the boy.” “Good! Leave immediately.” Kahn-Su and his crew bowed, and then shimmered off to retrieve Bane, The Chosen One.
