Syren was walking on Namek when he came upon a cliff. At the bottom of the cliff was some very clear water, after a long day of walking he decided to take dip in the calm waters. He dived off the cliff, landing in the cool refreshing water. As he swam he spotted a huge fish that was twice the size of him.

** Oh geez that’s a bug fish, I hope it doesn’t want me for dinner.**

As he swam he notices a small cave in the side of the cliff, he decides to check it out.
He enters the small entrance way and notices that it opens up further ahead so as he swam further into the cave, to find a small cavern. In the cavern there was nothing but a few crystals and gems formed into the walls.

**Wow, I’ve never seen a place like this before, this would make a great resting place. This place is hard to find so I probably won’t be bothered by the namekian, I’m not there most liked race.**

Syren climbs onto one of the highest ledges of the room and lays down to rest.

 A Couple hours pass then Syren hears motion at the bottom of the cave . Syren peeks over the ledge in surprise to see a large reptile of some form crawling out of the water with its kill.

**why were there no remnants of its food here**

As if on cue the reptile swallowed its catch whole. Syren sits back and thinks of a second

**its going to rest and digest its food , though I don’t think I can get out without disturbing the beast and it can definitely swim faster than me**

Pondering this he soon heard the deep breaths of a sleeping creature resonating from below him. He tries to climb down but slips sending a rock falling to the cave floor , quickly climbing back on the ledge the rock hits with a resounding CRACK. This awakens the creature, not knowing where the sound came from the beast takes a defensive positions keeping vigilant for any movement.

** Dam, now how will I get out of here, I’m going to have to wait it out ….. but  I’m too hungry to stay here much longer , I need nourishment. I’m going to have to fight it.**

Slowly he stood up and walked to the edge of the ledge, the beast hasn’t noticed him yet. He starts to form a Black Spear , but he wants this to hurt so he holds it got a couple of minutes, but before he could release it the creature noticed him , the creature lunged at Syren so he had no choice , Syren fired the black spear right through the eye and into the brain of the creature, killing it. He was not safe yet the limp form of the beast was still flying at him he backed up and ducked further into the ledge. The body hit the ceiling then fell, but the massive creature hit the ledge that Syren was on his was down causing it to begin to crumble. Syren pushed off the crumbling ledge and aimed for the water below. Nearing the ground he saw he wasn’t going to make it , in a last attempt to survive he shoots a Shadow Strike at the edge of the ground next to the water, the ground broke and fell into the water , the water rushed in to fill the gap , this was just enough to let Syren make it into the water.

** Mental Note: NEVER rest in a cave if you don’t know what lives there**

Syren Swims Away And continues on his adventure.
