Unagi felt the wind gently brush up against his once again pure face, as he flew the battlefield that he desired. This was a battle that Unagi had longed for, having not faced Joshua in a long time.

Joshua was the only one that could truly stop Alter Ego without killing Unagi. Unagi landed on a cliff, with a large pond of darkened water beneath the cliff. Aside the cliff was a small plain like area, with a small amount of grass.

Unagi stood on the cliff, waiting for Joshua to arrive.

Joshua landed roughly on to the surface of the water, using his Ki  to keep his walking on the liquid.  He looked up at the Saiyan and shouted, "UNAGI!"

Unagi looked down at Joshua, the person that he held of from fighting for so long. A tiny smile appeared on Unagi's face, realizing that this battle was for real.

"You're gonna wear that hat again?" Unagi asked curiously. "Aren't you gonna let me see you eye to eye this time?"

Joshua lifted his hat to look at Unagi eye to eye, and he saw the eyes of the old Unagi he once knew, and the cold, lifeless ones of a demon.  Joshua then shifted the hat back down.

"This hat means more than it did in the past.  I put an oath, a promise of a lifetime, on this hat that I will protect you and defeat Alter Ego even if it kills  me!  That promise starts now and forever!"

"Your sister's managed to make him weak. I found this as a perfect time for you to fight me." Unagi announced, showing how meaningful this fight truly was. "Even if he's still in me, that doesn't mean that I'm myself right now."

Unagi pointed to his forehead, feeling like getting Joshua amped up for this fight. "Let's see if you can get a scratch up here."

"Don't underestimate me!"

Joshua leaped to the side of the cliff, and rocketed right up the side of the rocky formation, his feet gliding across the surface.  When he reached the top he took the air, and then came down at Unagi with a drop fist...!

Unagi's eyes widened slightly, impressed by Joshua's improved speed, seeing as Unagi did not have much of a sample of his abilities beforehand.

Unagi ripped his hand in front of his face, and narrowly managed to catch the fist. Unagi saw an opening at Joshua's stomach, and quickly lifted his foot to kick Josh.

The foot nailed Joshua in the stomach hard, and he coughed up a small amount of blood.  Joshua regained his composure when he landed back on the ground, and he bent down and did a low, sweeping kick....!

Unagi was caught of guard by the kick, and was swung horizontally in the air, which Unagi took advantage of strategically.

Quickly, Unagi spun in the air rapidly, making a tornado with himself, before going towards Joshua to kick him with his spinning feet to the face.

Joshua quickly made a single hand, and one Shadow Clone appeared in a puff of smoke.  In a great showmanship of reflexes, each of them caught one of the spinning feet.  They then hurled Unagi toward the grassy plain...

Unagi's attack was thwarted by Joshua and his use of clones, leaving him wide open to an attack.

Unagi was thrown down against the grassy area, his back crashing against the ground, making him lightly bounce in the air.

The clone disappeared as fast as it had appeared.  Joshua leaped into the air, and made multiple hand seals.  He opened his mouth twice, and two small blazing dragon heads of fire rocketed at Unagi.  Joshua opened his mouth once more, and a much larger Dragon Flame was released...!

Unagi inhaled heavily, and unleashed a long, wide, stream of fire to counter against the dragon's. He also threw his arm towards the sky, a yellow Destructo Disk appearing, sharpened at the edges.

Unagi threw the disk through the fire and flames, hoping to attack Joshua with the disk in a surprise.

Joshua leaped to the side, but the Disk sliced through his left shoulder.  Joshua quickly ripped off some cloth from his pants and wrapped it around the wound to prevent massive amounts of bleeding.  Joshua made another series of hand seals, only this time a massive stream of water rose from the pond and came crashing down at Unagi...!

Noticing the water from the lake, Unagi instantly threw his hands high above his head, making a fairly weak ki shield, the water brushing off all around Unagi.

"Isn't this a bit cheap...?" Unagi muttered to Joshua through the water. "Why don't you fight me with your fists?" Quickly, the Saiyan ran through the water, feeling light pain during his breif shower.

He ran right up to Joshua's face, and pulled back his arm, before unleashing it forward to punch the human in the forehead.

Joshua was hit again, and staggered back some.  He charged at Unagi  and then slid across the ground, right under Unagi's legs!  From behind, Joshua lifted his leg for a rising kick to the center of the back...!

Unagi quickly felt the attack coming through the air, which prompted him to pivot his legs. Quickly, Unagi had made his way behind Joshua, and lifted both of his legs of the ground, and tried to kick his enemy in his back and send him flying upwards towards the cliff.

Joshua was hit once more, and sent flying through the air, vulnerable to Unagi's attacks.

Damn it!

Unagi quickly accelerated off the ground, and flew along side Joshua's body. He came rushing down with an elbow towards the bottom of Josh's back, along with a knee to the stomach at the same time.

Unagi smiled as he released his foe from the attacks, before grabbing him by the face. He rushed downwards, crashing into the surface of the cliff, Joshua in front of him.

Unagi gently released Joshua, watching him fall from the length between Unagi's raised hand to the ground of the cliff.

Joshua coughed, even more blood coming out.  His shaking hand slowly reached for the Soulstone in his pocket.  He looked at it;: it was still white, and not the usual silver.

"Please..." Joshua whispered.  But nothing happened.

Angry, Joshua whipped the Soulstone of the cliff, and with a small plop, it fell into the depths of the pond.  Joshua rose to his feet and made a hand seal, and four Shadow Clones were made.  Joshua was going to attempt what he tried in West City.  Joshua threw a punch at Unagi's face...!
